Haha yes. This is for alcohol based race cars. Mounts in the trunk and excess gas and vapor from the turbos basically are redirected to the tank in the trunk as a collection and evaporation point. You’ll see a race car sometimes that has a pipe coming up and out of the trunk area. That’s what this is.

I have the Optrel CLT and it is without a doubt the clearest hood I’ve ever used.

I’m sure you can do it. I made mine from 1/4” aluminum and it’s pretty steady on my table. Thanks for watching Jeff.

Jeff Loffert the water table is the way to go. If I was only gonna plasma cut Aluminum I’d do the downdraft. The water table is priceless when your cutting thick steel or stainless that produces a lot of heat. The sidekick 10 is a great table.

This is gonna be really fun.

I’ve had it for almost 3 years now and I can’t say enough good things about it. Pair it with the right CAD and Nesting software and it’s really easy to use and I’ve had only minor problems.

Yes with some adjustments

Rick, I’m doing a video this week on .250 wall aluminum cube. Hopefully it will help some. But to answer your question, without independent en and ep adjustment your amperage capability of 3/32 tungsten generally plays out about 200 amps. You can try to ball the tungsten and turn your frequency down to 60hz. It will definitely help. I’ll have this video up in the next day or so.
