That’s awesome. I’ve used an older (maybe 2018 model) Trailblazer and it was a slick machine.

Gotcha. Thanks

Where’d you get them? I’ve heard that the Crescent brand copy is really good and “way cheaper” but they’re like 25-30 bucks as well.

Putting a new floor in and lifting the axles on a stock trailer. Really glad it was one of my coworkers and not me that washed it out before it got brought in here lol

Interesting stuff. I wouldn’t mind hearing more metallurgy explained.

Building a skid for my machine. The tubing hadn’t come in yet, so I’ve been working on the plasma cut parts.

Not sure if this was your issue, but the air inside the part can get hot enough to build pressure and push your puddle out when you’re trying to seal it up.

Yeah he said he would fail guys that walked the cup. He thought it made for shallow penetration and lack of fusion between passes. In theory, he makes sense, but I don’t think it actually is applicable in the field. Mostly sounded like he had an opportunity to throw his weight around.

I got that email too. Guess I didn’t even look closely at it. They must think it’s alright lol. I’ll probably stick to 2% lanth and layzr.

I don’t do much aluminum, and when I do, I only have tig. But there’s a lot of good useful info in here. Thanks.
