If y’all can get brad to cut the kits out for the challenges I can do more of them. I am working 70hrs a week right now and don’t have a lot of time but I still want to get better at some of the things I am unfamiliar with. Would love to do a small stainless challenge next. I’ve never tig welded stainless. Maybe a heart or something so I could give it to my wife when I’m done lol. Or something with silicon bronze

I welded one of my aluminum challenge beads and I used 5356 on one plate. Not sure if the plates from Brad are 6061. I was Messing around with different settings and I did one really hot and really fast after I scribed a line and the plate split in half down the bead as I was welding it. I pulled back and thought the weld looked good till I looked at the first half of the plate. Just curious why it happened.
