If y’all can get brad to cut the kits out for the challenges I can do more of them. I am working 70hrs a week right now and don’t have a lot of time but I still want to get better at some of the things I am unfamiliar with. Would love to do a small stainless challenge next. I’ve never tig welded stainless. Maybe a heart or something so I could give it to my wife when I’m done lol. Or something with silicon bronze

I welded one of my aluminum challenge beads and I used 5356 on one plate. Not sure if the plates from Brad are 6061. I was Messing around with different settings and I did one really hot and really fast after I scribed a line and the plate split in half down the bead as I was welding it. I pulled back and thought the weld looked good till I looked at the first half of the plate. Just curious why it happened.

Love your stuff jd:) I’m 27 and getting close to breaking out on my own. I’m gonna be more of a industrial maintenance tech, but I love welding and continue to follow your videos due to how good your advice is on rigging measuring and making jobs easier.

Hey Jody I need to talk to you about a way for all the instructors to make more money counseling. 2525065256 I’ve watched your videos for years and I just thought of this today.

So true about welding tips and tricks

I was making 70,000 and I picked up listening to wt@t i started fixing everything I could get my hands on. Next year I hit 93,000 kept listening and practicing. I did about 110,000 the year after that. This year I did 100,000 flat because I bought and repaired a truck and set up a shop.

About to break out on my own. Bought everything cash and owe no money.

I was blessed with being mentored by a multi millionaire who taught me how to establish relationships with vendors. It’s been a lot of hard work and dedication. But I owe so much to the guys on welderskils.

I learned to work for skill first and money second. Thank you so much guys y’all are the best:)
