Martin Rubenstein  you are welcome and no problem...that Aluminum Guide is full of great information.  The days of dog ear'd and dirty paged manuals / handbooks are passing us by fast...DZ

Martin, I use these docs quite a bit for aluminum welding and filler metal selection...if you don't already have them.  Not sure if the links will work but I'll give it a try for everyone's benefit.  I think it's pretty standard the wheels, if cast aluminum, will be A356.0 but don't weld them on crack...I think is what Matt said 😁.  2nd link is for the filler metal selection guide.  DZ  https://www.hobartbrothers.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Aluminum_Welding_Guide.pdf

Fabbed up some removable flat tops for my pipe stands so I can clamp to them when fixturing stuff, etc. and I can put them back to pipe stands pretty easily. DZ

Great stuff Jody!  Thank you!  What ever happened with the BB filled purge box?   I think there was a part 1 and part 2 video but I never saw anything more.  I'm gathering materials to experiment with a combo BB filled / perforated copper plate purge box (at least for starters).  I did find some 3mm copper ball bearings on e-Bay (99.9% Cu) I'm going to try.

Wow, precision fit!  I didn't realize that bad boy would weld too.  That's impressive work and an impressive piece of equipment.  Thanks for doing the video.
