If you go to the community > questions channel, you can sort by recent activity, latest posts, or popular which will re-orient the feed. This post is just the ‘pinned’ post for this channel to explain the rules. You can make a new post in this channel if you have a question. I hope that makes sense! Thanks for prompting a more detailed process, Martin.

Correct! Jody is my Dad. We really appreciate your membership and we want you to get as much out of this thing as you can!

Thanks!

Yes, Martin Rubenstein that is correct. Just make sure that when you tag, you select the instructor or member from the suggested auto-fill results. You'll know that you did it right because the name will be linked (like yours is in this comment!) Thanks!

Here's the dedicated channel for questions to make sure we don't miss anyone! Leave your questions here. If you'd like to ask a specific instructor, use the '@' feature.

For example, type '@jody collier' followed by your question. That will notify the instructor directly. The attached image shows what it looks like if you were to tag jody.

--This feature also works on videos! So if you have a question about a specific video, be sure to tag the instructor in the comments of that video.--

We will be sure to check this thread for general questions as well! Thanks to Aaron Laughlin for prompting this new thread.

Aaron Laughlin I just made a new channel called 'questions' can you try posting a question in there for me? It'll help me to test some stuff. To tag, just type '@' followed by the instructor's name ie '@jody collier' as you type it will autofill and then you can select their name. sometimes if you type too much of their name it won't show them as an option - it's a little finicky but the first couple letters should make them show up.

Aaron Laughlin I’m the site administrator and tech person. To answer your question, you can post it pretty much wherever makes sense and tag any instructor(s) you like. We’re working on something a bit more intuitive, but for now that’s a good way to get a question answered since it notifies the instructor directly! Thanks for the feedback we definitely don’t want you to feel like it’s crickets in here.

Hey, fellas, the best way to get a question answered currently is to tag an instructor. We definitely don’t want to miss anybody, but it’s really just a matter of our notification system not highlighting new posts. I’ll tag Jody and get him to take a look! JODY COLLIER
