Looks like a lot of welding will this be stick or mig for that chassis?

Thanks I've been watching those videos a bunch. I've been busy so hopefully today I can get in the shop and start practicing on some coupons. I had a crazy thing happen where I was welding then all of a sudden I was trying to start an arc and the arc was shooting up the tungsten and into the cup. Any idea what cause this. I was hoping to gain a bunch from this forum. I'm not seeing to much activity here. What am I missing. Thanks again

Super cool. Is that 309 rod what makes the color gold purple in the weld puddle? Or is that just from heating the steel just right?

As a new super beginner to Tig welding, what rod is specific to 6061 aluminum? I also want to begin to practice by running lines and overlapping on coupons

Thank you. I'm excited to learn Tig welding. Trying to take my skills to the next level. I'm an auto body repair man and painter always learning always growing. I am not sure I'm in the right space here but I am not sure I'm fully understanding the site. I thought there was going to be videos with training lessons and a way for me to increase my learning with teachers. What am I missing and where do I go to learn about the site and what it has to offer as I plan to stay all year for now. Thank you for any help you can offer. Love stickers too haha

New to the page just signed up so that I could learn to Tig with my new miller 180 diversion. Sort of struggling to navigate the page and finding courses to teach me on practice techniques and so forth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
