Got some more practice in today sat down and welded this coupon paying attention to my arc trying to stay steady with the filler.

I'm wearing sleeves, got a arc burn on my neck so I stay protected. I'm sitting on a metal oil can.  Maybe I need a new throne. What do you sit on?

Aren Jenkinsas a newbie to GTAW I was kinda thinking I was upgrading the torch to a gas lens. Is this not the case? Is there a good reason to run a standard collett body and a pink ceramic cup? Instead of a gas lens?

Joey Collierthats great to hear I deeply want to learn to be a better welder and especially Tig welding. I'm starting my own body shop and I need to increase my skill and knowledge. I love to learn and ask questions. So I hope that I can engage with your dad and the other instructors. And even the forum members. Thanks again Joey

Haha yes of course. I have been watching must be your Dad Jody?  And learning a ton from his YouTube vids and so I was excited to have this forum. When I signed up I was hoping for the best.  I paid for the year and am thankful that you are working to provide a great experience. I hope that what we did today makes a positive difference for all the members of welderskills

Yes thank you ok I should have asked how to tag an instructor?  I wanna go to general in the channels and type my question and? How to tag?

Joey Collier. So are you not an instructor as well here?  You seem to be the man always responding. So just add a new topic with a question and tag a person from the instructor list? Is there a special place to post these questions or where truly is the best place? Thank you.

Is the purpose of this to have the previous puddle harden so that you can create a uniform look aka stacking dimes?  Or is there a ton a variables in play for you pedal pumping?
