Very helpful in my ongoing due diligence towards my next welder purchase. Thanks and job very well done!

Martin Rubenstein I’m disappointed to hear the low attendance for the zoom meeting. I work evening/night shift and Tuesday is one of my nights off, but frankly since I am away from my family on other nights, I am more apt to spend that time with them over a zoom meeting with anyone.

There are times when I have lag time at work so if one gets scheduled then, there is a much better chance I’ll attend.

I will certainly tune into the recording though!

Sam same here. Great for both laying down heftier beads as well as running quick fill pass over low spots in multiple fill pass groove weld.

A fairly frequent application for me at work involves overhead multi-fill pass groove. Using a Miller Big Blue with the Excalibur 7018. 135 amps is the sweet spot for me on that application.

I keep Jody’s words in my head, “Set it your amperage to where you can hold a tight arc without sticking, and then hold a tight arc.” I hold a tight arc and basically let the rod lay itself in there.

I love laying down beads like. Well done!

The very same rods we use where I work.

That is putting welder skills to very good use! I’d like to do the same sort of project soon enough. Thomas Epting I see we’re practically neighbors.

WILLIAM J COLLIER that is more than I previously knew on the topic, so it certainly does help. Thanks!

Had to make a walk-in cage for animals too. It has expanded metal welded on and R-panel for a roof (neither shown here). This held rabbits until last week. Not suitable. It will be for sheep going forward.

Jake Collier thanks, man! I have spent this year getting some small scale homesteading as well (rabbits, pigs, and chickens so far). Although, I have just shy of one-twelfth of your land.
