👋 Hello, I’ve been welding for about 11 years. From pipeline to shops I’ve bounced around a lot chasing that pot of gold. I want to start up with aluminum, and that’s the main reason why I’m here. Didn’t go to welding school, weldingtipsandtricks on YouTube years ago got me into my first spot.
Requesting a video on measuring tools and fitting techniques. Like using a speed square, combination square, etc. I had to make a handrail at work with a bunch of 45 degree angle cuts and it was a pain in the you know what. The Forman did not even know how to fit it up. 😂 I will add a picture. Video in the general area.

Had to fit and weld a 30 foot handrail with 45 degree cuts and angles. No table long enough so I had to work on the ground. Used band saw and chop saw to make cuts. Foreman did not even know how to fit it up. 😂

Still playing with this pluse tig it's pretty cool but, I could see how using it all the time will be a handy cap.

How would you guys go about welding the center of this? 😅
It’s schedule 40- 1.5” pipe (aluminum)
Team finished the 50 foot bridge section at my job. Very cool seeing how they moved it. My first time being a part of a project this big. Can't wait to see what kind of truck that will move it.

This is the housing of the boilers I am welding, I guess it’s a lot smaller than some other guys here are producing! ✌️
