I like beads like I like my women Hot 🔥 and heavy 😂💪 Stitch welding Dual shield flux core .045 I think I was running 24 volts 250 material thickness of out side plate 1/4" and 5/16" my welds were attaching the outside plate to the support frame. They had me weld it with all the supports in the way. Weird positions in the inside. Really difficult. I don't have thatuch experience with dual shield. More experience with hard wire. Some said my bead size was too big only supposed to be a 1/4. But better more than less. Not allowed to do multiple passes

That's is a good life experience and skill learning experience to work on that type of project. I want to get a cool job like that.

Running hot 🔥 I had my settings at 23 volts 225 wfs

Do not go overkill with 4k it's just a waste of time & memory. 1080p is good enough. Even 720p is ok. Everything I upload on social is 720p

I cry & cuss in the welding booth trying to weld good beads with 6010. I am decent with 7018. When I use dual shield flux core, the beads come out great. I took a weld test with dual shield and passed. Used .045 with 1/4 plate to pipe.

Great episode. Very interesting life in Alaska for a welder / machinist. Really cool

Thank You I am going to switch the bottle out. What size cup do you use for a T-joint?

How can I tell if I have a bottle of bad argon gas? I was using the same settings and same bottle of gas when tig welding aluminum. Then I started getting no cleaning action. It was if I was using Direct Current instead of AC. Which I have acidentally done. 😅 . The pressure in the bottle dropped to 8 KPA & 1,250 PSI. I got it from lindell gas

I am doing padding on a flat piece and also a T-Joint with 1/8 inch aluminum, ER 4043 ROD, I change the tungsten from 3/32 to 1/8. Running 125 to 150 amps. Using Grey band tungsten.
