Been really happy with the Evolution saws I've owned. Had the one like Matt demo'd, and recently sold it to a friend and upgraded to their new mitering chop saw( on a mobile stand ). It's been awesome. I've found their blades to last a good long time, if you do as Matt suggested. Use the right blade for the right material, and ease into the cut. I'd also add, allow the blade to spool up to full speed before starting the cut.
Been using a Fein Slugger for several years now in my shop and gets lots of use. Blades hold up pretty well after many cuts and has a cast base which is very durable. Cuts are clean if you feed the blade correctly and minimal deflection on mitered cuts. Supplements well the horizontal and vertical bandsaws in my shop.

Cool video, house of chop did one a while back , not sure if I bought mine before or after his review but I really like the saw.
It is portable but really heavy. On the down side with use and transport in my utility truck the cover mechanism has lost its hardware and sticks. I've replace the screws but it's still has minor issues.
On the plus, it is extremely accurate compared to abrasive saws.
It will trim even the thickness of the blade and the cut will still be square.
I've cut over a hundred boiler tube at 2.5 with only one blade.
I've even used used it to cut oversized copper tubes , but I do think a different material wheel might work better.
